Working in the Support Office
Help us become the world’s best pet care business and we’ll empower you to be your best
As the UK’s leading pet care business, our vision is to become the world’s best pet care business, creating a better world for our pets, people and planet.
From sourcing exciting new products to keeping track of our performance, it takes all kinds of expertise to be sure pets and their people are well looked after. Located in Handforth just outside Manchester, our Support Office team do just that. They bring to bear a broad range of digital, data, buying, finance, IT and other expertise to ensure everything in our stores and the wider Pets at Home Group runs smoothly. We also have a Support Office in Swindon specifically for our Vets4Pets practices. Whichever role you join us in, you can help us shape the future of pet care.
Whilst our offices play an important role for team collaboration, we’ve embraced hybrid working which sees many of our colleagues based across the UK; we're able to work remotely whilst retaining a fantastic team bond and high performing culture.
We’ve created a unique culture across our Group. Ours is a performance-led culture, but one that’s built on kindness and respect. We’re authentic too. We mean and do what we say. So when we say there’s no focus on hierarchy, it means you’ll have huge scope to share your ideas. We’re a forward-looking business that’s committed to innovating, optimising new technologies and setting the global standards for pet care.
To join us, you’ll need to understand the truly special emotional connection between pets and their people. If you’re working in our relaxed office, four-legged friends are always welcome. Every day with us is bring your dog to work day.
We nurture an open, encouraging, and supportive environment where each and every colleague can reach their full potential. It means you really do have every opportunity to progress with us – in a collaborative, empowering environment.
This is your opportunity to really own your career. To be valued. And to help shape the future of a business that will support your development and progression every step of the way.
