Technical Project Manager (12 Month FTC)

You will be a strong Project Manager with a background in successfully delivery of technical projects, managing multiple projects at once, working very closely with infrastructure and technical colleagues and have the ability to manage each project closely through to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Plan & coordinate all of the necessary tasks to achieve the business/technical objective

* Budget assessment & procurement of services

* Obtain appropriate resource to conduct the tasks and prioritise work

* Working alongside Infrastructure and Technical colleagues/teams.

* Manage risks and issues and change management throughout the project life-cycle

* Track & report project progress, internally to teams through to senior stakeholders

* Resolve or escalate issues in a timely & appropriate manner

* Manage third-party relationships i.e. different business user groups, suppliers

* Transition solutions from Service Delivery to Service Assurance for production support

* Facilitate business user and supplier meetings to ensure solutions are on track and to design.

Skills Required:

* Strong project management skills to drive multiple technical work streams through to completion and ability to get hands on with project delivery as required

* Experience of managing multiple medium to large technical/software projects through the full life cycle in either Agile or Waterfall methodologies

* Ability to react to changing scenarios and environments.

* Understanding of business processes and basic corporate finance, management and accounting principles.

* Excellent organisational skills to shape and plan for delivery of each component.

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Ideally experience in managing projects that transition from on premise solutions to cloud platforms.
