Are you experienced in materials and manufacturing, with a passion for innovation and sustainability? Join Pets at Home as a Technical Design Specification Manager, where you'll manage material specifications and cost efficiencies across our Petcare centres.

About the Role

As the Technical Design Specification Manager, you'll play a crucial role in introducing sustainable components, driving value in supplier relationships and ensuring consistency in quality.

We can offer hybrid working (two days in the office) from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire. Regular national travel will also be required.

Key Responsibilities will include;

• Managing and implementing material changes across suppliers
• Leading tendering processes and supplier evaluations
• Ensuring accurate documentation of specifications and managing cost databases
• Driving innovation with sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes

About You

• Experience in equipment manufacturing or material specification
• Ability to interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial and operational awareness with a track record of delivering complex projects
