Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner - Distribution!

Are you a dynamic and analytical finance professional? We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Distribution Finance team. This role is crucial in partnering with our Distribution team to drive financial results and support strategic decision-making.

About the role

This hybrid role is based at our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire), but also requires a weekly presence in our Stafford Fulfilment Centre. You’ll be required to work in the office two days per week and the fulfilment centre one day per week.

Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Partnering with the Distribution Operations team to achieve financial results and business objectives
  • Providing financial support to key stakeholders, including the Director of Distribution and Site General Manager
  • Transforming data and reporting into actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and producing month-end and board reports to explain performance
  • Creating and reviewing weekly and monthly financial and KPI reporting
  • Supporting long-term strategic financial planning and in-year budgets and forecasts
  • Assessing investment projects to ensure Return on Investment (ROI) aligns with business goals

About you

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills to generate actionable insights from data
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience handling large data sets
  • Experience in a commercial/analytical role is desirable
  • Retail/E-commerce experience is a plus
  • Capital appraisal, SAP and Power BI experience is beneficial
  • A self-starter with excellent organisational skills
  • Commercially savvy, with a keen understanding of business and market context
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong team player with excellent collaborative skills
