Become our Supplier Partnership Executive!

We’re looking for a Supplier Partnership Executive to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire), meaning you’ll work two days per week in the office and three days from home.

About the Role

Reporting into the Supplier Partnership Specialist, the Supplier Partnership Executive is responsible for implementing supplier marketing activations, with a focus on all Customer Relationship Management (CRM) channels including email, direct mail, sampling, app, magazine and digital.

Striving for continuous improvement of supplier marketing plans, this role utilises data and insights to identify marketing opportunities, select target audiences, and create Return on Investment (ROI) reports on both customer and commercial level. The Executive role maintains strong alignment of supplier activities across the Marketing, Trade Planning and Price & Promotions teams to ensure that supplier income helps inform our planning activities and where possible is aligned to Pets at Home priorities and areas of focus. This role also supports in developing new business processes, creative concepts, and opportunities for incremental supplier investment.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Working alongside our partner agencies and internal channel owners to implement CRM and cross-channel marketing activities, acting as a representative of the supplier brand within Pets at Home for funded and value added activity
  • Managing the administration and set up of supplier funded promotions within these activities
  • Working with Data and Insights teams to understand and utilise data to identify supplier marketing opportunities, selecting target audiences and creating ROI reports on both a customer and commercial level
  • Continually reviewing the alignment of supplier activities with trading plans and commercial priorities of Pets at Home, and identifying opportunities for suppliers to support on key business strategy
  • Developing effective working relationships with suppliers, key internal teams and partner agencies to lead on activations as supported by the Supplier Partnership Specialist

About You

  • Competent commercial retail business understanding
  • Relevant experience in a commercial/marketing position, ideally within a leading UK retailer, is desirable
  • A solid understanding of commercial relationships and marketing planning
  • Experience of working directly with marketing agencies
  • Excellent organisational skills and a willingness to be ‘hands on’
  • Able to manage and effectively prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines
  • Confident in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work on many projects at any one time, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Able to work effectively individually, yet balance with strong teamwork principles
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
