Are you ready to take charge of a dynamic business planning and forecasting cycle? Here at Pets at Home, we're seeking a talented FP&A Manager to lead the way in setting ambitious yet achievable targets for sales, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

About the role

As an FP&A Manager, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to craft a comprehensive five-year strategic plan, annual budget and bi-annual reforecasts.

This is a ‘hybrid’ role, so involves working two days per week from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire).

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and reforecasts in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Setting annual Free Cashflow targets and collaborating with the Head of Treasury for reforecasts
  • Crafting compelling presentations for review by the Vet Business COO, wider leadership team, CFO and CEO
  • Supporting ad hoc business case modelling, including Net Present Value (NPV) analysis
  • Establishing a consistent framework to drive accountability and track investment returns
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to agree on the phasing of annual customer sales targets down to daily levels

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with experience of working in industry and/or practice
  • Experience in a similar FP&A role
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • Proficiency in forecasting and data modelling
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to distil complex information for impact
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Comfortable in using formula such as; ‘xlookup’, pivot tables, ‘match’ formulae, ‘sumifs’, etc.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
