Onboarding Assistant
Right now we have an exciting opportunity for an Onboarding Assistant to join our People/HR Team at our Stafford Fulfilment Centre. Work cycle is Monday - Friday, standard office hours equating to 39 hours per week with flexibility required to meet business demands.

The Role:
The Onboarding/Colleague Experience Assistant will be responsible for providing an operational coordination service to the business and team. They will be responsible for supporting the hiring managers with the processes and tools to enable them to ensure Pets at Home Group has the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Ensuring the candidate experience is seamless, supporting colleagues through the recruitment and selection process, utilising success factors to deliver an end-to-end people service. Colleague Engagement activities and Rewards and Recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring a seamless transition for the candidate from recruitment to start date and through their first week in training
• Conducting Drug and Alcohol tests as a pre-employment check
• Collecting Right to Work and criminal declaration documents
• Updating colleague personnel files
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and support the operational team with smooth transition for the new candidates into their shift pattern
• Manage Induction Diary and create New Starter Packs which include rota, pay dates, first 3 days at PAH, absence line information, name badge and access fobs and Locker Fobs
• Supporting the Colleagues in setting up and using their Success Factors Accounts
• Support and encourage compliance with policies and procedures throughout the resourcing lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems to ensure consistent standards across the team
• Support Colleague Experience Lead with temp to perm agency recruitment
• Support Colleague Experience Lead in delivering induction days for agency temp to perm colleagues across days/noons and night shifts and preparing all paperwork ready for each candidate
• Administration of the Rewards and Recognition program inc Long Service, Colleague of the Period, Team of the Period, Leader of the Quarter, Nibbles. Ad hoc Competitions. This Program may change to suit business needs
• Designing and sharing communications for engagement activities, seasonal events, colleague incentives and occasions
• People Skills. In this Role you will be working closely with all teams and colleagues on site
