About the role
As a Learning and Development Consultant here at Pets at Home, you'll be a vital contributor to our Learning and Development team collaborating with our L&D Leads to create and implement engaging learning experiences that help us to achieve our vision to build the worlds’ best pet care platform.
We can offer hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire) and some nationwide travel may be required at times.
Key Responsibilities will include;
New Colleague Induction Experience
- Owning, developing and delivering a company-wide new colleague induction experience
- Innovating and introducing a new international mobility scheme to enhance our global talent pool
Succession Planning
- Collaborating with the Talent & Capability Partner to develop and implement effective succession planning strategies
- Identifying critical roles and nurturing internal talent pipelines for sustainable growth
Leadership Development
- Partnering with the Leadership & Performance Lead to support leadership development
- Designing and delivering high-impact blended learning solutions
- Providing coaching using tools such as Insights Discovery and Hogan's Insights Series, to enhance leadership effectiveness
Future Talent Pathways
- Working closely with the Future Talent Lead to curate development pathways for non-clinical technical roles (Digital, Data, etc.) post-future talent program
Project Management
- Managing learning and development projects, whether standalone or as part of larger transformation initiatives
- Aligning projects with evolving business needs to contribute to the growth of our learning offerings
Specialist Advice
- Providing expert guidance and insights to HR business partners and stakeholders across the business
About you
- Significant relevant experience of operating as an L&D Consultant in complex large organisations
- L&D creation and delivery experience
- Project management experience
- Engaging, knowledgeable and passionate
- Clear, articulate and confident communicator – able to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels
- Focused on continuous improvement, measuring outcomes based on data, trends, analysis and review
- Strategic in mind set – value to business
- CIPD/TAP or relevant experience in L&D
- LMS/Success Factors experience is desirable
