About your role

You’ll be a core member of our group digital leadership team, reporting to our Group Digital Director. The role comes with significant responsibilities, as you’ll make sure our digital platforms are always fully operational and effective, but you’ll also oversee long-term innovation that supports our wider strategy.

Your leadership will define our ‘go live’ process for implementing platforms changes, as well as how our operational budgets are spent and how our user training is delivered.

As Head of Digital Operations, you will manage a team of digital experts; taking accountability for their performance, motivating them to perform their best, and act as a role model for collaboration across Group Digital and the wider business.

About your experience

You’ll need significant experience in a similar role, either in a pure play ecommerce business or an established multichannel organisation. Complex and large scale operational experience is required.

Whilst you will be able to operate at a strategic level, you will be equally comfortable operating as part of the team when required, helping drive operational activity forward. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of establishing new, robust and rigorous processes and truly transforming digital operations.

Experience in a direct to consumer environment, coupled with knowledge of online retail processes will enable you to thrive from day one, alongside knowledge of the WebSphere Commerce platform.

We’re looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and make a big impact straight away, delivering outstanding leadership and getting involved at all levels. You’ll have an intuitive feel for our customers and a high level of emotional intelligence, combined with a real desire for results.

You should have a tech-related degree or an equivalent technical qualification, e.g. BTeC or HND.
