About your role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our production design team in the role of Digital Designer. As the digital designer, you will form part of a decentralised production design team, working closely with the trading and marketing teams to represent web best practice and application. With a keen eye for detail and a customer driven focus in your approach, you will represent the production design team by putting our customers and Pets at the forefront of your design solutions, producing seamless friction free journeys that drive impactful commercial and customer experience results.

Working closely alongside the trading team, you will champion and take accountability for ensuring that all proposed designs are aligned with project briefs, data driven focused and prioritised with best practice web design techniques in mind and ensure that our customers are always at the forefront of any proposed solution.

Your role will form part of a wider network of likeminded Designers, using a set of common processes and joined up agile ways of working, following a test-and-learn evidence driven ethos to create easy to use intuitive user experiences that drive growth for our group digital teams.

About your experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong working background in Web Design, with a proven track record of delivering results in this space.

Wireframing and prototyping across devices including mobile, desktop, and tablet should be familiar territory, with clear understanding and appreciation of design standards across the various screen formats.

Working to tight deadlines with a pro-active approach and schedule management is key for this role to ensure projects are delivered on time to the specified requirements. Experience working on seasonal campaigns in retail would be an advantage.

Prior experience of having worked within an agile delivery framework would also be advantageous, alongside practical experience of any or a combination of the following software tools:

  • Figma / Adobe XD & Creative Cloud

  • Contentsquare

We’re not just here to sell food or treats, we want to help pets and their owners live happier, healthier lives together. When you make a project a success, there’s a pet and their owner at the other end who are benefitting from your efforts.
