About the role

We’re looking for a Leadership and Performance Lead to join us. The role can be worked predominantly remotely but there will be regular travel required to our Support Offices in Handforth (Cheshire) and Swindon.

Working as a key part of the group Learning & Development team, you will be responsible for creating, delivering and evaluating innovative and engaging learning solutions to build capabilities, embed our values and behaviours and drive performance across the group.

You’ll lead on the design and delivery of impactful leadership development experiences for our leadership community, including our people managers, to enable our leaders to lead high performing teams that are fully engaged with our vision, strategy, culture and purpose. In the role you’ll also help embed our ‘Great Conversations’ agile approach to performance, developing our people managers and colleagues to have regular and effective performance and development conversations and check-ins. You’ll also be responsible for embedding our leadership capability framework to help colleagues and leaders own their development and drive their career.

Working in collaboration with the L&D Academy Partner, Early Careers Partner and Head of L&D and Leadership you’ll continuously evolve our learning offering, building awareness of learning initiatives and promoting the investment we make in our colleagues and their career; as well as growing mentoring and coaching frameworks to help our colleagues and leaders be the best they can be.

About you

You’ll have proven experience in the design, delivery (including digital) and evaluation of leadership and talent learning experiences with demonstrable experience in designing & implementing innovative talent management approaches.

Further key experience/attributes includes;

  • An ability to work across a range of different subject areas and manage multiple large projects at one time.
  • Excellent experience in building effective relationships and communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A curiosity to learn, develop, and challenge yourself and inspire those around you to do the same
  • Strategic in your mind set – thinking value to the business first
  • A focus on continuous improvement, measuring outcomes based on data, trends, analysis and review
