About the role
We are looking for a Digital Optimisation Lead to join us and manage the end-to-end optimisation testing process across multiple group platforms, supported by the Digital Optimisation Specialist to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for someone to support an established Conversion Rate Optimisation team on current roadmap priorities and also shape the future as we test and learn to deliver a complete platform migration and new customer experience.
You will work closely with the Digital UX, Design and Development teams to continually test and rollout the most effective, optimised, relevant and ultimately personalised experiences for existing and prospective customers – always focusing on commercial site performance and customer experience.
This role will combine elements of data analysis to deliver data-driven testing and campaign optimisation, through the full digital development recommendations.
Manage the end-to-end optimisation testing process, including prioritisation, requirements gathering, test implementation, measurement, analysis and next-step recommendations
Optimising conversion funnels through the site, reducing customer friction and increasing conversion rate across key customer journeys
Support the Digital Marketing Acquisition team and agency work-stream to improve ROI on marketing spends, with key focus on paid traffic optimisation
Align testing priorities with the strategic initiatives of Project Polestar and transfer from BAU to the future experience through test and learn on proto-types, working closely with Product Owners and the UX team & agency
Work with the Proposition team and support key strategic acquisition and retention opportunities such as Flea Subscriptions, VIP sign-up, Easy Repeat and Puppy & Kitten club registration
Regularly analyse and report on the performance of testing initiatives, reporting on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for next steps and iteration
Conducting Quantitative and Qualitative analysis using Hotjar across group platforms to inform on customer insights
Using Google Analytics and Content Square data to analyse data and test performance
Lead the test and learn process for product recommendation placements across the site
Suggest Data Layer enhancements to increase personalisation opportunities for customers
