Our goal is a fully personalised customer experience that integrates pet care across store, multi-channel and vets to deliver a seamless service. The ambition, scale and variety of our work sets us apart, and we’re backed by unprecedented investment.
Analytics is becoming the lifeblood of our Pet Care ambitions across the Group. We have established, and continue to build, an internal analytics capability (our Pet Care Analytics Group) that is creating value by helping us all to make better decisions that improve pet welfare, enable a brilliant customer experience and optimise the working life of our colleagues and partners.
About your role
As a Senior Delivery Manager you will be working across all levels of the Pet Care Analytics Group (PCAG) to manage the demand for our colleagues in Data Science, Insight, Engineering, Visualisation, Platform, CRM and Digital Analytics.

The rewards are great though. This is a brand new role and you’ll have full autonomy to shape it how you want with great exposure across The Pets at Home Group. You’ll be the connection between PCAG and the rest of the business, playing a key role in ensuring we have a leading class Analytics capability that can use data to better serve our customers.
About your experience
You’ll be a champion of Agile working practices with a background of mentoring squads to adhere to best practice. As an independent thinker you won’t rest on your laurels but instead take the lead and influence others.
You’ll have extensive experience in project delivery having used a variety of delivery methods, developed processes for managing risk & dependency management, applied appropriate governance & tracking as well as commercial management.
Further key experience includes;
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable evidence of clear reporting to core governance groups and stakeholders
- Clear experience of managing project budgets effectively
- The ability to spot trends across the portfolio and identify ways to address particularly repeating risks and issues
- A background of articulating plans to senior leaders and delivery teams
The ideal candidate will have helped shape and control the delivery of programmes and projects previously, demonstrating an understanding of how to measure progress through quality reviews, identifying improvements and then acting on a plan to implement those improvements.
