What do you get up to on a typical day/week?

I manage a peripatetic team which are geographically based over ten locations around the UK. The team transport an average of 10,000 pets per week, therefore as you can imagine, every sunrise brings a different challenge!

Tell us about the learning and development?

Pets at Home are extremely advanced in learning and development. They go above and beyond with training in all roles. I am currently studying for my level 5 qualification in leadership and management which is equivalent to a foundation degree. In the past I have completed a intense Pets At Home Management fast track course – in retail management.

Tell us about the rewards and benefits?

There is pet unity leave, which means we get one day of extra paid holiday if we get a new pet. You get your birthday off (paid) and you get extra day's holiday depending on length of service.

How does Pets at Home give back to the community?

We do road safety training, charity days where we help local charities and fun days for our friends and family.
