As a Groomer you will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming and therefore it is essential that you will be able to carry out all aspects of grooming, being able to complete the groom from start to finish on the majority of breeds to a very high standard. Your excellent communication skills will be fully utilised as you will be dealing with customers and their pets on a daily basis. Having a grooming or pet care related qualification would also be beneficial but not essential.
